Founders, creatives, and anyone working on novel ideas inevitably face uncertainty along their journeys.

The uncertainty of not knowing everything, yet.

The uncertainty of things not working, yet.

The uncertainty of their future.

Despite humans preferring the certainty of misery over the misery of uncertainty, luckily some risk-takers are courageous enough to work on new ideas in light of uncertainty. These individuals have decided (consciously or not) to play with uncertainty every single day of their lives. They have decided to make the jump into the unknown.

Naturally, the act of dealing with uncertainty has become their daily bred. And one must find their unique set of anchors and practices to stay sane. One must figure out a way to trust that things will eventually work out while scrutinizing their daily doing to the highest standards. Balancing believing and truth-seeking.

John Allen Paulos puts it best: “Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security”. Hold the vision, trust the process.
